Boiled Eggs with Ham, Tomatoes and Arugula Recipe

This dish features boiled eggs, salty ham, juicy tomatoes, and peppery arugula. It's an excellent way to start the day with a protein-packed breakfast or as a light lunch.

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Fill a small saucepan halfway with cold water and add the eggs.
  • Over high heat, bring the water to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 9-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs after they have boiled.
  • Slice the ham into small pieces and cut the cherry tomatoes in half while the eggs are cooking.
  • Remove the eggs from the saucepan and place them in a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Peel and cut the eggs in half.
  • Place the arugula leaves on a plate and top with the egg halves.
  • Serve with the sliced ham and cherry tomatoes.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
