Fried Egg on Toast Recipe

A traditional breakfast dish that is quick and simple to prepare.

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon of butter
• 1 slice of bread
• Season with salt and pepper to taste
• 1 egg

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 5 minutes
• Cook Time: 5 minutes
• Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

• Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
• Allow the butter to melt in the skillet.
• Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny, after cracking the egg into the skillet.
• Toast the bread in a toaster oven or toaster.
• Place the toast on top of the fried egg.
• To taste, season with salt and pepper.
