Fried Eggs on Toast Recipe
Fried eggs on toast is a traditional breakfast dish that is quick and simple to prepare. The combination of crispy toast and runny yolks results in a delicious and filling meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of bread
- Two large eggs
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices to your preferred crispiness.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Cook until the whites are set and the edges are crispy, but the yolks are still runny, about 5 minutes.
- This should only take a couple of minutes.
- Season the eggs to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve each fried egg on top of a slice of toast right away.
