Eggs Benedict Wrap Recipe

This Eggs Benedict Wrap is a creative take on a classic brunch dish. A flour tortilla is wrapped around soft poached eggs, crispy Canadian bacon, and tangy lemon-Dijon butter sauce for a delicious handheld meal.

Ingredients

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • A large pot of water should be brought to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and maintain a gentle simmer.
  • Cook the Canadian bacon in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crisp, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Set aside after removing from the skillet.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Take the pan off the heat and stir in the lemon juice and Dijon mustard.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • One at a time, crack the eggs into a small bowl.
  • Slide each egg into the simmering water with care.
  • For soft poached eggs, cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain on a paper towel after removing with a slotted spoon.
  • On a plate, place a tortilla.
  • A slice of Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and a drizzle of the butter sauce complete the dish.
  • Garnish with chopped chives.
  • Roll up the tortilla and repeat with the remaining ingredients and tortillas.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
