Poached Eggs on Toast Recipe

Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a low boil.
  • To the water, add 2 teaspoons of vinegar.
  • Each egg should be cracked into a small bowl or ramekin.
  • Carefully place the eggs, one at a time, into the simmering water.
  • Allow the eggs to cook for 3 minutes.
  • Toast 2 slices of bread and spread with butter or oil while the eggs are cooking.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove the eggs and drain on a paper towel.
  • On top of the toast, place the poached eggs.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
