Bacon and Poached Eggs Recipe

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook until the bacon is crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
  • Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil over high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and stir in the white vinegar.
  • In a small cup or bowl, crack one egg.
  • Create a gentle whirlpool in the water with a spoon and place the egg in the center of the whirlpool.
  • 3-4 minutes, or until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
  • Transfer the poached egg to a plate with a slotted spoon.
  • Continue with the remaining eggs.
  • Season the poached eggs to taste with salt and black pepper.
  • Serve the poached eggs with the crispy bacon and chopped parsley on top.
