Poached Eggs with Bacon and Hash Browns Recipe

This traditional breakfast dish features perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and golden hash browns. It's a delicious and filling meal that's suitable for any occasion.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet and set aside to drain on a paper towel.
  • Season the grated potatoes with salt and pepper and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes, in the same skillet.
  • Set aside after removing from the skillet.
  • Bring the water and white vinegar to a boil in a pot over medium-high heat.
  • Crack the eggs into a small cup one at a time, then place them in the simmering water.
  • Cook until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the poached eggs from the water with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain.
  • Distribute the hash browns among four plates and top with a slice of bacon and a poached egg on each.
  • Serve right away.
