Poached Egg and Sliced Avocado on Toast Recipe

  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil over high heat.
  • Pour some vinegar into the water.
  • 1 egg, cracked into a small bowl Reduce the heat to a low simmer.
  • Make a whirlpool in the water with a spoon.
  • Pour the egg slowly into the center of the whirlpool.
  • For a soft poached egg, cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • With a slotted spoon, remove the egg and place it on a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
  • Repeat with the second egg.
  • The bread should be toasted.
  • Remove the pit from the avocado and cut it in half.
  • Scoop out and slice the flesh Arrange the avocado slices on top of the toast.
