Poached Egg and Smoked Salmon Sliders Recipe

These Poached Egg and Smoked Salmon Sliders are ideal for a light brunch or lunch. Creamy avocado, salty smoked salmon, and perfectly poached eggs are a match made in heaven.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil over high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and add the white vinegar.
  • Each egg should be cracked into a small bowl or ramekin.
  • Make a gentle whirlpool in the water with a slotted spoon to help the egg white wrap around the yolk.
  • Pour one egg slowly into the center of the whirlpool.
  • Rep with the remaining eggs.
  • 3-4 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, poach the eggs.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove the eggs from the water and place them on a paper towel to drain.
  • Place a piece of smoked salmon on the bottom half of each bun before assembling the sliders.
  • Serve with sliced avocado and a poached egg on top.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and top with fresh chives.
  • Serve immediately with the other half of the bun.
