Poached Egg Sandwich with Smoked Salmon Recipe

This Poached Egg Sandwich with Smoked Salmon is a filling breakfast or brunch option. The combination of creamy poached eggs and salty smoked salmon is divine.

Ingredients

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

  • Fill a saucepan halfway with water and heat it to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, add the vinegar, and stir to form a whirlpool in the water.
  • One egg should be cracked into a small bowl and gently slid into the whirlpool.
  • Rep with the other egg.
  • 3-4 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
  • Toast the bread slices and spread butter on them while the eggs are cooking.
  • Place a slice of smoked salmon on top of one of the slices.
  • Remove the poached eggs from the water with a slotted spoon and place them on top of the smoked salmon.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with the remaining bread slice.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
